Life is a precious gift, so much so that people living thousands of years ago also wanted to prolong their lives and people living in the current age also bid to do so. Humanity is known to be in search of the legendary “foundation of youth” ever since the known history begins. Who knows people living before that were also up to something like that as well.
In past, our ancestors tried to find the “foundation of youth” deep inside the jungles, mountains, and rivers. This search still continues, however, the direction of the search has changed from outwards to inwards. Well, that might sound strange to some people, but it is as true as anything.
In our times, none other than the medical science itself revealed that we might already be blessed by what we had been searching so desperately outside. According to them, the present day man’s foundation of youth could be lying right within their own bodies, in the form of a hormone known as HGH or Human Growth Hormone. There are many more names given to it, but most commonly it is attributed as HGH hormone.
As the name suggests, it has a lot to do with growth and development of human body. Our body is lucky enough to be bestowed by nature in developing this hormone by itself right after the birth of a person. It has the ability to play different roles in different times of human lifecycle.
In early childhood, HGH hormone supports the rapid growth and development of human body through abundant production all through the puberty age. At puberty age it supports outrageous and critical changes that every human body undergoes. It has a special role in supporting and strengthening sexual activities of a person.
As the time proceeds, human body’s natural capacity to produce this hormone declines due to which many health problems arise. Contemporary medical science is focusing on reviving this fountain of youth by devising ways to enhance the natural production mechanism of human body and have come up with many alternate treatments for doing that, thus somewhat succeeding in discovering the legendary “foundation of youth”.
